Same thing that makes a donut different than a cupcake. It's the hole.

Its made in a bundt pan. I find that the cake is a bit thicker on the outside. But this makes it easier to pop out of the bundt pan.

Bundt cake is usually a denser cake than a plain white cake. Usually a pound cake, dense chocolate cake or a coffee cake. It's baked in a bundt pan and usually drizzled with an icing glaze, if iced at all.

It is regular cake- it just refers to the shape. You use a bundt pan. Round with a hole in the middle. By the way, the miniature bundt pans make the cutest cakes!

It's shaped differently in a rounded deep dish pan. When I think of a bundt cake I think of a Pound Cake. YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!!!
