Maybe you should go back on the Prozac. Unless you are very wealthy, this is the greatest country in the world in which to live. Mozambique? Thailand? Good luck with that.

For those of you that say "America is the greatest place in the world." how many countries have you lived in? Hell, how many states for that matter. Most of you haven't lived more than 100 miles from your place of birth.

I have lived in 7 countries on 3 continent, and have had long visits to MANY others.

America is a good country, but NOT the best for everyone.

I would not move to any of the places that are being considered.

My personal choices would be:
(1) Canada
(2) Spain
(3) France
(4) most of the other European countries

Asia is pretty nice too, I don't choose that though because of personal issues I've had over there.

As for money, America is the most expensive place in the world. Fuel prices are the only thing that cost (MUCH) more in other countries.

Your pay in most countries will be equivalent or better than what you get in America. It WILL be less, but so is the cost of things. In China, they make 0.25 per hour, but that is EXCELLENT pay when you consider the costs of things relative to their pay.

All of that being said, America offers more opportunities to excel for yourself than any other country.
If you just want to be an average person, you will do better in other countries, if you want to try and push yourself and improve your situation, America is one of the best places.

My two biggest complaints with America is the way the govt has mutated from it's original purpose, and how lazy Americans are in general. We SHOULD revolt against the tyrannical way our govt rules over us, and most people know it, but everyone is afraid to take the first step.

Nope, I love my country! I also fear my government and the corruptness that has become all too prevalent. But if you think that you are going to escape that in a 3rd world country you are sadly mistaken. Despite how sh*#ty things get here, I would rather stay and fight for what I believe than run to some hellhole. Good luck to you, I wish you all the best.

I think anyone that can not stand the USA should move to other countries. If they do, they can't come back when reality sets in of what exactly they gave up.

I love the USA. I am becoming increasingly freaked out by our loss of Constitutional rights, though. I am fearing that we may fall apart politically.

The citizens of this country are the greatest in the world, but, I am looking at buying property in Costa Rica. My older daughters and I are going in a few months to look.....

The countries you are thinking about really have some issues. Please visit before you consider moving to any of them. I don't think they are what you perceive them to be.
