Don't do it.
Just go to a navy or army base and check out the people. Then check out an Air Force base. You'll find the people you talk with in the Air Force will do less complaining about their jobs.
If you simply have to join a military reserve, join the Air Force Reserve.
You'll eat better, sleep better, travel in a nicer manner, get better training (some you might actually use in real life), and not have to put up with 100% baloney--it will be only 40% baloney (;^).
Stay away from both the Army and Navy.
I have served with (not in) all three services. The Air Force is much better--especially in a time of conflict.

Ha I LOVE being in the Navy. But unless you really have a plan on what you'll be doing outside the reserves, I say, Active Duty all the way!!
