Each diocese is financially independent of each other so it is rather difficult to determine the worldwide Church's assets and liabilities.
The 2006 Annual Report for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles states it has about $488 million in assets and $451 million in liabilities making about $37 million in net assets.

The Catholic Church thrives off of donations. I dont understand how anyone could call the Catholic Church a cult when they have the same beliefs as every other Christian Church.
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord.
who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit
born of the Virgin Mary.
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand
of God the Father Almighty.
From thence he shall come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Is this not what all Christians believe?

A small fraction of what it has spent providing basic human services to the poor of the world. The Catholic Church provides far more such services than ALL other churches COMBINED. Which you would expect of the one Church founded by Jesus Christ for all mankind.

The wealth of the Catholic Church is spiritual .
Scripture, Tradition and Magisterium.
Seek knowledge in Catholicism.

Mark 10
25 It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Luke 18

Contrary to popular belief, each diocese is independent.
The unity that we have with other dioceses, and ultimately the Bishop of Rome, is spiritual rather than material.
