We have little choice but to finish what we started. Gen Powell told us at the beginning you break it you own it. Well we broke their government now we have to give them time to fix it.

And they are finally starting to, now that Rumsfeld is out of the picture. Now if we just had the number of troops we had in 1990, we could end this easily.

Touchy subject for sure, however we started it we need to finish it. This being said Iraq needs to step up to the plate a little more and try and stand on their feet, and if I'm not mistaken they are trying so lets finish the job

Honestly, it is up to the President and Congress (through funding) to make that decision.

However as a taxpayer I am agasht at the money being spent on Iraq.

There is nothing that American taxpayers are going to get out of this war/occupation to justify the costs, which are now in excess of $500,000,000,000.
