someone i know makes it but she doesn't give out her recipe so i was wondering does anyone know what recipe this might sound like? its think less than a centimeter thick it has either caramel or tofee on the bottom and its hard.. the top is a cholocolate and it has tiny bits of nuts on the top.. if anyone gives me a website with a picture of it i could probably tell you if it is it or not.

Sounds like a toffee to me. You layer the chopped pecans on the bottom, melted chocolate on top of that, and then top with your toffee mixture. Then you turn it out and cut it into pieces. Take a look at Allrecipes.com or TasteofHome.com
