First, atheists is formed from the word "theist". So it is you believers who screwed up. We just added a negative to it. Second, adding an s at the end of the word does indeed make many words plural. Just because some don't need an s, doesn't mean no words need an s.

I got my basic school education in a Catholic school, and I know the "i before e" rule doesn't always apply. In the word "neighbor," for instance. And pluralization doesn't always necessarily mean adding an "s." But since you know this stuff and are just baiting people, I'll leave it at that.

Uh... Christians are between the few religions that believe that they must positioned their faith on others. Muslims do believe this to a element, yet they believe that they provide you one risk to transform and then they kill you (it is radical Muslims of direction). Judeism believes that their strikes are adequate for human beings to need to grow to be like them. Atheists have countless questions approximately Yahoo solutions, in certainty they ask approximately 0.5 of them. Budhists don't sense that absolutely everyone else needs to appreciate their faith except they arrive to them, shintos do no longer care despite if human beings care approximately their faith, and on and on. wish that solutions your question.

"and ending in ay as in neighbor and weigh"

I swear the people with the worst grammar are the public school folks. I hear "I should have took/did/went" so much that I'm almost starting to think it's right! lol

Oh yeah - it's "should have" not "should of". I couldn't resist since that one drives me up a wall.

Stop beating on people that you don't agree with. It annoys everyone and it gives believers a bad name.

Wrong poppet. You cannot say 'Why don't atheist'. You either have to add the 's', or you can say, 'Why doesn't the atheist'.

And in the word 'atheist', the 'i' doesn't come before 'e'.

Back to school for you methinks.
