Never, since it has a timing chain.

Listen to pbleek You do not have a timing belt and if you have kept the engine oil changed regularly, the rings will wear out before the timing CHAIN!
Took one engine apart...4 liter at 200,000 miles, loose, yes, dangerous..no.
Did I change it? Yup,,but I had the engine apart.
Good Luck and don't worry about it.

neither have a belt, they have a chain. i have never replaced a chain on a 4.0. they stretch some, but never enough to cause a problem, and i don't think i've ever heard of one breaking. on the 4.7, the chain tensioners are hyrdraulic/mechanical. oil pressure and spring pressure compensate for chain stretch. when they can no longer compensate for the stretch, the chain will rattle and you will know to replace it.

like Drag1 says , it might stretch but regular oil changes and be good up to 200K but maybe just to be safe change it at about 175K mark.
