If you have (UK) fully comprehensive cover, normally this will allow you to drive other vehicles with third-party cover.
Speak to a broker.

If you have a fully comprenhensive policy it will almost certainly allow you to drive any other car with the owners permission but you would be insured for third party only (you would have to pay for the repairs of the car you were driving) It will be expensive if it is done and I would start with an insurance broker. Th ebest trick is to get yourself as a named driver on the owners policy they will do this one week at a time for about £15

Most insurances let you drive any car. the ones you here advertise let other people drive your car and your insurance will still cover them. So any insurance will probally work but remeber to go with a big name company or you might being less but for nothing if you actually have a problem

You would need to purchase a Non-Owners policy. This insures you as a driver. However, it doesnt always cover any vehicle you are driving. There are conditions in every policy.
Contact your local agent, they should be able to help you

I think you need motor trader insurance. Expensive, but no other way of doing it.
