Well considering you are in freaking England you'll probably hear lots of English speech considering that is where the language originated from. Did you take any history classes or did you just drop out? Go get an education.

About two paces. Longer if you want to hear it spoken properly. What are you getting at? I wonder. Worried that we're being 'taken over'? Fear of being swamped by civilised cultures? 'They come over 'ere, take our jobs, scrounge off our DSS... blah, blah' Yawn... Do you know how few English living in Spain speak Spanish? They fiddle their pensions, avoid taxes, send their children to English-speaking schools, employ only English people to do work on their homes, whinge incessantly about the people who own the country, know nothing of Spain's culture, history, economics or society. Remember that the government here has changed the rules about newcomers learning English too. So less people are eligible however much they want to learn. Get some perspective.

When I was in London, I was appalled at the amount of non-English speakers on the streets. I couldn't find one English speaker, not ONE. I had been told to prepare for it, but I didn't know how bad it was!

Nice try at yet another racist question, do you think we're all stupid enough on YA to fall for your bait? If the apparent 'immigrants' do not appear to be speaking English at least they may not be small minded enough to waste their time and eveyone else's by posting this sort of petty bigotry on YA.....
