EDIT

Why are you breeding anyway? You need to be educated and be experienced.

I hope this helps.

When can she get pregnant?

She can get pregnant only when in heat. Some breeders test for progesterone levels to identify the most fertile days but the rule-of-thumb is that the most fertile days are 11-15 of her cycle.

Note – when she’s in heat, the average dog will permit any male dog to mount her. Few females, however, will accept a male when they’re not in heat.

You are without doubt no longer a registered breeder and have now not acquired even the fundamental understandings of dog reproduction. You have not recounted the age of your b itch nor have you acknowledged how many seasons she has had. So that is your first "strive"! I do not feel that an attempt is good for any canine. You need to do the entire research well before her season starts offevolved. Have you ever had you dog verified and cleared by way of the vet. Does your canine have papers? Does the stud canine have papers? Have you checked the traces of each and every dog carefully to make sure that this is a good coupling? People who think having domestic dogs is cute - or do it for the money are with no trouble perpetuating the backyard bred dogs who're lacking in breeding and genetics. The only reason you must think about breeding your b itch is that she is a exceptional example of the breed (conformation shown to Champion) and that the male can be an exceptional illustration of the breed. Breeding is about bettering the breed not simply having pups for domestic dogs sake or for the $$$, for those who breed good it's going to most of the time price you as so much as you are going to get from the puppies! Please desex your dog now and enjoy it is company instead than focusing on breeding and creating future problems.

Before you breed, consider about the quality of your female. Is she so exceptional to AKC breed standard. You have purebred (not purebread) Boxers doesn't mean that you can breed her. If you are showing her, has she obtained her championship? If you are purchasing her as a pet or companion, please have her spayed. I assume she is not a show dog, otherwise you should ask your mentor, not any strangers on the internet.

If you need to ask this question, you do not know nearly enough to be breeding dogs.

Please go and research this subject thoroughly before you even attempt it.

I don't suppose either of the dogs has had ANY of the health tests recommended by the American Boxer Club?

Do a little research on Boxers first if you please, don't mate them until you are 100% sure you know what you are doing, and what you are getting your dog into. Dogs usually are accepting of males midway through their cycles, and you really should have a show quality male lined up already, if you were seriously wanting to do this. It's ALOT of hard work. Best of luck to you and your dog.

Never. If you are asking this type of question, then you have not done your homework.

Breeding dogs takes years of learning, studying, and research.

Please have your female spayed, and enjoy her as a loving member of the family. Do not add to the already overpopulation of dogs in the world, shelters who are overcrowded, and unwanted puppies.

When she is in standing heat, but I wont say what day(s) that is because she should be spayed or health certified(meaning she carries no genetic diseases), Championed, and of sound temperment with a stud of EQUAL quality, not fido down the street.

Please don't breed your dog. The shelters are full of them already that don't have homes.
