im going to go there from the 18th to the 22nd of january 2008. i will be playing golf and also have a go at some rides in Sea World, Dream World and Movie World. is that a good time?

yep that is a perfect time it is really hot now and that is the time when the weather cools down i live there and it is a beautiful place

It's the wet season and it rains one day in two in January. It is also the warmest month. The combination of heat and humidity can make it very sticky. If you are playing golf, watch out for thunderstorms and take shelter if one comes near you. 25% of people hit by lightning are golfers.

Yes it is a good time... HOWEVER it is the most popular time so it will be pretty expensive... the absolute WORST time to go is around late November/early December during schoolies... Hundreds of drunk under agers and probably more pervey mid 20 year olds taking advantage of girls... ick
