No, you can drink coffee while using these meds. I used dilantin years ago, and I just checked a web site about lyrica.

In the first link (below) caffeine increases risk of CNS depression and psychomotor impairment. In fact, please research forums before extensive use of Lyrica - a *host* of tough side-effects!

Similarly, one of the precautions listed for dilantin is to limit your use of caffeine. (second link)
