Honestly? I think the fact that there IS an Israel, given the best efforts of the Arab world and Palestinian terrorists to destroy her. In 1948, within a mere 12 hours of declaring independence, Israel was attacked by her Arab neighbours; they simultaneously invaded her. By some miracle, Israel defended herself; this tiny, beleaguered country up against the might and hatred of the Arab world.

And that was not the last time the Arab world tried to destroy Israel. It's a miracle she's still there.

Once again I feel duty bound to point out the irrationality of your remarks. Firstly, the checkpoints are there purely to prevent terrorists. Do you know how many Israelis have been killed by Hamas and Islamic Jihad? No? Until you do, don't criticise Israel for defending her people. What would you have her do - abandon the checkpoints and allow potential and actual terrorists to carry out their suicide missions with total ease? Name me one nation on earth that would do that.

Also, you keep bringing up the Holocaust - why? If the Israelis were, as you claim, systematically killing Palestinians, then the number of Palestinians would not be increasing!

Go and pick up a history book. You are embarrassing yourself.

One very interesting fact about Jews is that although the whole world thinks of them as the most hated neighboring-country-to be, (BBC gallop-poll 2006), they still try to convince us that they merely ...defend themselves against the Arabs. They can't think for a second that they established their little barren piece of land inside the Arab world, forcing against them Palestines, WW2-type atrocities, against people that had nothing to do with holocaust.
It is amazing that Jews still believe that one day they would live in peace and harmony in Palestine. That's my opinion being Scandinavian myself and, yes I voted Israel worst neighboring country last year.

I've been twice and found it shocking.

It's small , so easy to see the sites.. but the worst thing is the Checkpoints everywhere and the terrible plight of the Palestinians....It's a Military State..You'll see schoolgirls waiting for the bus carrying an Uzi.

The Jews were persecuted by the Nazis. Now they now do the same to Palestinians?
They seem to have lost compassion and resorted to Ethnic Cleansing and Genocide as a form of Survival.

The Holocaust is being forgotten but Jewish atrocities against Palestinians are happening now..Something must be done before they are exterminated.

Why do people of the world stand by and let them get away with it. (For fear of being accused of ant-semitism.. half my family are Jews)
