No, it's different, but not necessarily better. The Concord was certainly faster but held far fewer passengers. Its design was superior to the A-380 in terms of its capability to go supersonic, because such speed would rip the wings off the A-380, but in terms of doing what the A-380 is designed for, the Airbus is the superior aircraft. Aircraft all have strengths and weaknesses. An F-16 is better than an A-380 when it comes to detecting and destroying the enemy, but the A-380 is much better when it comes to in-flight entertainment and passenger comfort. A Stearman biplane is the superior aircraft when it comes to loops, barrel rolls and split S maneuvers if it is compared to the A-380, but you won't get a meal served to you in your Stearman. When it comes to landing on water, the Boeing 314 was the superior aircraft as compared to the A380. In many ways the A-380 is superior over many similar aircraft, but in terms of what it can do, it sucks at a lot of things that other aircraft are capable of. Do you see where I am going with this? I hope so, because it took me a lot of time to write.

If you need to shift 500 people across the Atlantic the A380 is a much better tool for that job. If you need to get 100 people there in half the time then Concorde is the only answer.
But this is an apples and oranges question. Is a Suzuki Hayabusa better than a school bus? Well, it is for shifting me and my girl down the road at 190mph+ but it's not much use for taking 40 kids to school.
The A380 and Concorde both represent the peak achievement for their particular time and task. It is likely that there will be better answers to both requirements in the future. But you can't compare the two.
If you offered me a flight on either then that would be a very very easy choice, Concorde all the way.

They are not comparable aircraft really. The Concorde was a high speed transport, the A380 is a mass transport. In terms of financial viability, I'd say the 380 will most likely make money, while the Concorde never really did.

A380 is a barge in comparison.
The Concorde is an Amazing Aircraft , was ahead of it's time. I say was because I believe most are on the way to retirement or have been all ready. Am I correct?

With respect to?
they have different missions, they have different markets...
If you said overall, which is better, I would say the Concorde... it was the first of its kind... the A380 is nothing more than a stretched copy of the 747...

different people have different oppionions but i dont know but i think that for the time:people ratio the A380 would be better because it holds lots more people and it would take less time per person so if you are tring to get 5000 people from usa to london i would choose A380 but it is all about what you think so dont take my oppionion im just a kid
