Your Heavenly Father is the source of all truth. He loves you and wants to answer your questions, therefore, He will help you recognize the truth as you sincerely seek it and ask Him for guidance.
A simple prayer should follow four basic steps:
1. Address God as “Father in Heaven” or “Heavenly Father”
2.Thank Him for the things for which you are grateful
3.Ask Him for what you need
4. Jesus is the Mediator ( 1 John 2:1; 1 Timothy 2:5) between us and Heavenly Father, so close your prayer by saying, “In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

God answers our prayers if they are in our best interest spiritually.
If not they seem to go unanswered.
We get what we need not what we think that we want.

God doesn't answer our prayers because we dont't know how to pray.
We don't know him. We don't want to know him.
But when we get something special even if we didn't work for it, we think we did it or it was an accident. Sometimes, that makes me think there is someone watching us and reading our hearts.

You have to be a beleiver to understand that he does. I have been at the bottom of all bottoms in my life but with persisten prayer and beleive in HIM, I was able to get out of it. I will never forget that he's always been there for me. Call him Allah, Jesus, God whatever you want. He is ONE and he listens to the faithful.

There are a number of reasons it's impossible for God to answer your prayers:
1.There is no God.
2. If there is a God, he has a DIVINE PLAN. The DIVINE PLAN tells the story of everything that has happened and is going to happen in the universe. If you pray for something, and it isn't in the divine plan, it's not going to happen! And if what you prayed for was in the divine plan, you didn't need to pray for it anyways!
