I've made lots of money at jobs that I hated,
and minimum wage at jobs that I loved!
Maybe the price of personal satisfaction
is factored into our wages! ;)

No!!!!!!!! the most important aspect is does the job make u happy, does it give you the time to spend with your family, does it give you a sense of accomplishment, are you appreciated by management and do they show it, are the working conditions acceptable. The money means nothing, and if things are bad at home or on the job all the dollars won't help. years from now you will look back on the high paying job and wish you had chosen to do something else. Not really. The most important aspect is whether you enjoy what you do and respect the people around you. All the money in the world wont keep you from getting burned out at a bum job with a whip cracking boss.....

Not at all.
I just left a good paying job, simply because I was not happy, and knew the type of work was not for me. GOT TO BE happy, or you don't even want to get up and go each day!

I had a professor tell me that to be happy in a job you need two of three things:
1) good money
2) like what you do
3) like the people you work with
If you have two out of the three you are doing really good.

Money is noting dear, the most important thing is dat ur happy.
what if ur asked to work on a weekend and its ur son's birthday, but the company said they'll double ur salary. would u take the money and miss ur son's bday or u'd rather stay with ur kid??
ask urself? so urself and those who are close to u are better than money!

It depends what is most important to you personally, its a personal choice.
Do you want the cash? or a balanced work/life? or a mix? or more free time? the ability to shirk? increased your skills?
And that is the way to pick your job.
