4 x 8 = 32 square feet/metres (or what ever), the roof is 19.22 x 19.22 = 369.4084 sq ft/metres/32 = 11.544 sheets, rounded up = 12 complete sheets.
But with 12 complete sheets, you would lay them 4 x 3 sheets. which would only cover an area 16 x 24, which would mean you cutting off part of the overhang and attempting to cover the area left.
But if you buy 15 sheets, you could lay them 5 x 3, which would then cover an area 20 x 24, which is slightly larger than the roof area you want to cover.
How come some morons have given me the thumbs down, are you so thick, you cannot work out basic areas or something?

Where did the people who answered this take math? Kiddie garden? 19.22 square in roofing terms is 1922 sq ft Each sheet of plywood (4x8 = 32 sq ft). 1922/32=60.06 so get about 65 for the hip and ridge. This is pretty close estimate. Da veed is only one who is right here besides myself.
PS sorry to Chuck and Nick. They can do basic math also.

You would probably need about 61 sheets. Each square is 100 square feet. multiply 19.22 x 100 and you get your square footage, then divide by 32 square feet 8x4 is 32 sf. and you get the number of sheets you will need. it comes out to a little over 60 so you will need 61 because they don't sell half pieces.

4 times 8 =32 square feet
19.22 times 19.22 = 369.41 square feet
369.41 divided by 32 = 11.54 sheets so to round it up 12 sheets will do
if your roof is only 19.22 square feet 1 sheet will do

Your question is not clear .Information gave about area of the roof is not correct measurement .
Area of the roof is by square feet ,and if you mean 20sf or 19.22sf one sheet exterior 21/32" plywood is enough.
Important: Connect line of the ply wood must be in one of the rafters with 1/8" opening for exposing and be nailed by galvanize 11/4" every 6"

That depends on the exact shape of the roof. The shape will determine how much waste you will have. If your roof is shaped such that you have no waste, it would take only 60 sheets. This is highly unlikely, though. Just draw it out to scale on a piece of paper and then draw in each sheet of plywood. That is the simple way to do it.
If I had the dimensions and pitch of the roof, I could help you a bit more.

1 Square = 100 square feet
1922 / 32 = 60.06
There will be quite alot of scrap due to peaks and valleys. Purchase 20% extra and save yourself time. Any unused can be returned.
Total amount to purchase = 72 Sheets
