I love junket, especially vanilla flavour, I haven't eaten it for years.
I have looked out for it but I must admit not very hard, perhaps you can let me know where you buy it now.
I first had it when I stayed with an aged aunt in Birmingham 60 years ago, so it will bring back memories for me.

You can't buy it in supermarkets, has to be homemade, but sometimes cafes around here do it. It is basically made of blood warm milk, sugar, rennet, sometimes vanilla flavouring, and always topped with grated nutmeg.
It was a popular dessert in England's Westcountry, Devon and Cornwall. Can't stand it myself, but husband loves it. Both Mother and Mother-in-Law used to make it, but has gone out of fashion now. No good to vegetarians with the rennet.

Yes, I did until I came back to the UK to settle, but I have it again every time I fly back to Spain. It really is delicious, like a very milky yogurt but without the slight acidity of it.

Yes fifty years ago when I had my tonsils out. I saw in in the grocery store last week. I didn't realize it was still around.

Sometimes. Can't always get rennet or it's substitute.
It's nice in summer, makes a nice lighe dessert.

It was something mum used to feed me on as a nipper. Yummy yummy. Haven't had it for decades.
