No. If it comes down to Mitt Romney vs. Clinton, I'll vote for the walking male organ in the skirt.

Actually most of the criticizing is coming from the fundies from what I've seen. So I don't think they really do.

Being a conservative and an atheist means that I get wrapped up in their politics all the time. This has been a weird dynamic, because if you took out that he was a Mormon, the religious would love him. And as close as the race on the Republican side is he would be unstoppable. So they are left with Huckaby who they really have some issue problems with.....but he fits their religion mold. It has been pretty interesting.

for a similar reason people destructive Obama because of the fact of his "questionable" faith. people tend to be afraid of what they don't comprehend so they immediately anticipate that's undesirable. like it or no longer our u . s . a . is a catholic u . s . a . and a few catholics can even have self belief a Mormon in potential might attempt and alter that. I additionally guess that Romney's warring parties might use that concern to sway votes. Politics is an unsightly activity and the policies have become further and added blurred each election.

They will like him until they realize that Mormons are not just another Protestant denomination (which is what they think now). I'd give him about 2 months and he'll be done with all the exposure he's getting. He's the beginning of the end for the Mormons, just like Tom Cruise was for the Scientologists. Believing what the Mormons do shows extremely poor decision-making and critical thinking skills.

They don't like each other's churches at all but since when fundamentalists need logic? They are obviously good at conveniently separating religion and politics if it suits them. I prefer being in the religious left for such ideas are more consistent and pro-life means opposition to wars of aggression and also opposition to the death penalty and respect for life includes respecting the dignity of workers.

The sad thing is, although he belongs to an organization that is, without question, a cult...

The majority of people in this country would still vote for him, no matter how crazy his cult might be, before they would ever vote for an atheist.

Huckabee is in big trouble now that its found out he lets rapists murderers out because the rapist raped a relative of Bill Clinton's. Now it comes back to haunt him, because the person he let loose raped and killed 2 women in Missouri.

He seems like a really nice guy regardless. It doesn't matter what religion he is, if he has a good foundation for his campaign, then why not give him a chance.

I'm LDS and I'm not voting for him. I am able to separate his politics from his religion which is EXACTLY what he wishes YOU would do.
