buying a lamp for my artist friend for xmas, any recommendations?

She's looking for a lamp that offers natural light that is desk lamp size. I don't know what types or brands are out there, any recommendations?

Since she is an artist the "full spectrum" lights would offer what she is looking for.

If they are an artist, a good abstract looking lamp design would be awesome. It would need to be creative. I can't say that I know what brands are better, or whatever. But the design would be cool. =)
