I'm looking for a good LCD with 1080i or 1080p such as Hitachi L42V651 or Phillips 42PFL9732. Can anybody help me?

I really like the SONY XBR line of LCDs. They are expensive compared to many others, but the picture is beautiful.

I'm actually looking at the Vizio 42" HD LCD. Good picture and no bad reviews so far.

If you plan on doing any gaming I recommend the Sharp Aquos line. Very fast response times (4 ms), full 1080p, and highest contrast ratios in their class.

....i have been shopping and comparing for last four months and doing independent research. i could buy any tv on the market today. ........and im on my way to electronic store to buy the 40" samsung........cant wait " go patriots"

I would go with samsung but if you have the money check out panasonic? no one here has said anything about panasonic?? o_o
