Christian women are told to cover their hair as well. 1 Corinthians 11 tells women to cover their hair. Now people can try and get around this by saying the covering is the hair.... they also will say it is not the culture anymore to do that. They will also say this was just directed to the women at Corinth. But when you look at the history of women covering their hair, and you read to cover your hair because of the angels in 1 Corinthians, there is no other way to see it... Christian women are to wear a physical covering on their hair. Have a great day. Peace and blessings.

Islam forces women to buy into the lie that if they are totally covered up, they are holy and modest. That's extreme. On the other hand, dressing scantily and revealing is extreme as well. In America, in case you have not realized, you have free choice, freedom and balance. A balanced woman with some good sense dresses modestly and appropriately. Like wearing a suit to work if required, jeans and t-shirt, skirt not too short, nice hairstyle and make-up. You can look modest without being totally covered up for a man. Lust is still gonna be in his heart whether or not you are covered honey. That is not your problem. So if you got lust in your heart, or you are hot for a muslim guy with a nice physique, good looks, etc, you are still sinning against your Koran, right? How come women in Islamic countries are still treated like crap and being raped if they are still covered up? Statistics read that most men who want to rape a women, rapes her with her fully clothed, not half naked or scantily dressed. Muslim men are oppressed sexually so they take it out on women. Why do you want to stay in America if you don't like it here? You ain't never gonna make it into a muslim nation, it's just never gonna happen.

A lot of the women around Bradford could not be described as eye candy and you can detect that despite them wearing Burkhas. Its not a crime to be unattractive but a Burkha must be a godsend.

Uh, actually, I doubt that has anything to do with it.
I'm against them because they put the blame on women for the thoughts of the men. Which is just crazy. Most men I know don't need anyone else to be held accountable for their actions or thoughts. They can control both themselves.

There are more, but that will do for a start.

i don't think there's anything wrong with covering; private shows only can be a good thing, but i believe muslim women are taught that they must satisfy their husbands sexual needs no matter what. at least that is what i saw a muslim man saying in a debate on youtube. i believe he said is was in the "scriptures" (not sure of exact word for it) from mohammed.

I don't mind hijabs, but I think that any religion that represses sexuality that much can not have come from a god that created our sexual nature. Seriously, why would you trust a god that created you one way and then told you to behave differently, espcially when that different behavior is contrary to every other behavior displayed in nature.

The men I know aren't so shallow and sinful as to expect me and the other women I know to always be there to please them sexually. So I don't HAVE to "cover up" as you say, to avoid being considered a sex object.
But I guess that's the difference between Christian men and Muslim men. Muslim men rule women by fear - they make you fear that every man you meet is a predator, and in doing so, they rule your life.
Thank God! I'm free to live and dress as I please.
