You can't stop it, but can slow it down by putting the cap back on very tightly and refrigerating it.

They make a special cap that allows you to lpump air into the bottle. The pressure keeps the carbonation from seeping out of the soda, thus retaining the bubbly.
Look in your supermarket in the soda isle.

I'm just guessing!!
But try to squeeze out all the air...in the soda and then just put the lid on very tight!
It may work!
I think the air makes it do that!

The only way it to put the "remainder" in a smaller container that has a tight lid. This gets rid of the air space.

Check at a kitchen supply store or Wal-Mart, K-Mart for a stopper that will allow you to repressurize the bottle.

You can't. Put the cap on tight and store it in the cubbord. If you have a problem with them going flat, then purchase some canned cokes. They will last much longer!! :)

there ia a device that you can purchase that pressures up the bottle,so the carbonation will not evaporate once the bottle is opened.
