I have a question for everyone. I recently fell in my bath tub and hit the side of my ceramic toilet with my jaw full force. Sounds lame, but seriously, the toilet is pratically in the shower becuase my bathroom is so small.
It happend on Wednesday night and I am in sooo much pain. When I am not moving my jaw it is ok, but when I talk, chew or just put my teeth together it is agony. My bite is a little off and my jaw does not feel the same as the other side. It also has a lump that I can move around in there.

What do you guys think.. I hate going to the hospital and want to know if this is a ligitamate reason to go.

THANKYOU

The bite feeling different is the red light here. Yes, have it checked out by all means. You risk a serious infection.

THE LEGITIATE REASON FOR YOU TO VISIT THE HOSPITAL IS TO GET AN EXAM AND X-RAY BECAUSE YOU WERE HURT.
YOU MAY HAVE DISLOCATED YOUR JAW INSTEAD OF FRACTURING THE JAW BONE. FOR YOUR SAKE GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND HAVE IT CARED FOR.
