If she was lost for 4 days of her heat she is most likely pregnant.

Since you have no clue what she mated with you should seriously consider spaying her now and aborting the pups.

I have to agree with the others, a dog on heat out for four days is almost sure to have met at least one full male! It would be a miracle if she wasn't pregnant. The bad news is, you don't know what dog she may have mated with and a larger breed than her means larger pups, possibly leading to a C-section which believe me is very expensive!
It may seem cruel but I'd take her to the Vet and explain the situation, and arrange for a spay. If you can't face that then start doing some research into preparing for the birth and what to expect and when. She should see the Vet anyway to confirm the pregnancy, You can get a rough idea of when the pups may be due by remembering the first day she was out and then adding 63 days to it! If she got out a month ago you haven't a long time left to prepare everything and you will need to know what to do and how to look after the pups for the first eight weeks at least!
If you go ahead with the pregnancy arrange to have her spayed after the pups are weaned or be prepared to take much better precautions next time.

If she got out for 4 day's while she was in heat you can pretty much put money on the fact she's pregnant. Seeing as you don;t know what she bred to or how many times even she could be very much at risk if she goes ahead with the prgnancy. If the male was much bigger than her it could even kill her to have the pups.

Take her to be spayed right away. Tell your vet the situation. It will probably cost a little more if she's pregnant, but the cost in life would be much greater if something went wrong in the pregnancy or birth and she lost her life.

Edit: If she is having a discharge you need to take her right to the vet no matter what. She either has an infection or if she is pregnant she maybe carrying a dead pup. This happened to someone on my Chihuahua group recently. She lost the whole litter.

If she was missing for 4 days during her season, she is probably pregnant.

Some dog's private area and teats shrink as soon as the season is over, some take longer. Some go through false pregnancy and don't shrink down until much later. In your case though, your dog is probably pregnant. You can take her to the vet and have her spayed now and eliminate the pups and all future problems of this sort! Or, if you are opposed to that, you can have her spayed after the litter is weaned.

I would take her to the vets and have them do a n ultrasound to check..
Depending on when during her heat she got out there is a good chance she came in contact with at least one male. Do realize she could have been bred by more than one or even 2 or3 males. Each pup could actually have a different father. Males can smell a female in heat for upto 5 miles and travel to get to her.
I would speak to the vets about the safety of carrying the pups.more than likely due to her breed she would be ok.

Get her spayed. If she's pregnant, the puppies will die, but it will give puppies at the pound a chance to get a home. If she was gone for 4 days, there's a 99.99% chance she's pregnant. She could be gone for 4 minutes and be pregnant!

Gone for 4 days and you ask the question? I'd say it's more than likely.
Try to find your girl dog and her pups good homes.
