Benny Hinn is like a huckster on steroids. He knows the psychology of his audience, and plays to that.
Several years ago, he was confronted by other Christian leaders, and he repented for awhile. When he started doing things biblically, the donations slowed to a trickle.
Therefore, he went back to what "works."

Almost everybody wants to pay their way to Heaven ...when its only our hearts that God needs . Its hard for us sinners to accept that we are saved by God when we have not done anything yet . We have to pay someone , just for us to be sure we are included in the lists of those saved .
God's saving us is a gift ....

He plays on peoples emotions. They think that if they give him money, God will bless them with riches or healing. God does bless us in many ways, but not through a false prophet.
