You act as though I was never educated by public schools and colleges in the U.S.
I spent twelve years eating at the trough of public education. For all intents and purposes, science class (regardless of the discipline) advocated (and enforced) a correct understanding of evolution.
I also took biology in college, and even took a CLEP exam (and passed) to give me extra science credit.
I was an atheist for most of my life. I came to Christ as an adult. Allow me to turn the tables on you. Read about Jesus Christ. Understand what you are rejecting and why. Atheist websites will not give you the truth. Your science teacher probably does not understand it. Read about it from Christ's perspective.

I am no longer a christian, but I did attend a christian school in kinder garden. My teacher told the class the dinosaurs didn't exist and that evolution is WRONG! When my mom found out she was appalled because there is proof of both. Now I think it is unreasonable to not try and understand evolution. Christians are so concerned on how it disproves their God. I think it proves their God, It's a miracle in my eyes and obvious that we all evolve. We adapt to our surroundings, I mean why are some people white, others black...they have proved that we adapt so people should just realize that's how the world works. We evolve to survive. Started from nothing and now we are evolving into something and it is apart of God's plan.
If you don't believe in evolution...than how come they have found sealed off caverns with spiders and all diff species on the outside and broke into find the same species but just Clear and Fat deposits were there eyes are supposed to be...they adapted to their surrounding...they live in a dark place so they turn clear and have no eyes because they don't need them...TO disprove evolution is like disproving God. It is a miracle that in this whole universe we have life... our planet.

Do You ?
Can you for one moment consider that this world in it's entirety is being deceived by Satan ?
And you are being told what YOU want to believe because it 'feels' good ?
Did you look at all the evidence completely without bias or emotion ? or did you just convince yourself of that ?
How do you know that Creationist Websites don't tell the truth ? is it because it goes against what the World say's is acceptable, Regardless of how many alledged scientist support it ?
It is a fact, that there is a large and growing number of "FORMER EVOLUTION Scientist" That have seen the deliberate fabrications of Evolution and how they deliberatly Falsify the evidence and cover up the truth because of their hatred of even the idea of God.

Concerning the debate going on about intelligent design and evolution: is it possible that the final answer about which of these two seemingly opposite ideas is correct could simply be yes?
With one position firmly held by the believers and the other just as fearlessly defended by the non-believers, if you happen to be in a position somewhere near the middle, it does not look all that complex. From this position, you wonder why either-or has to be the answer.
If you believe that some higher being created the universe by intelligent design, what more elegant and intelligent design could there have been than a self-regulating system that continually checks its own errors and makes its own corrections in mid-stream as an integral part of the process.
This all seems quite logical to me although it probably won’t satisfy the believers because they are afraid to see any truth other than the one they have been told to believe in. Inversely it certainly won’t satisfy the non-believers because it leaves them stuck with a god that they are so obviously terrified of.
To sum up this view from the center, it might be most easily be explained by saying perhaps the designer was intelligent. Problem is, the designer was likely so intelligent that those seeking to prove that it is intelligently designed may be incapable of ever understand it well enough to see it for the elegant self regulating design that it has always been.
The nonbelievers will be similarly handicapped due to the internal terror the have about the idea that there may be a God. Neither side being able to leave their entrenched position for fear they may have to admit they were wrong. While the rest of us stand by trying to figure out what all the fuss is about. Personally I don’t think anyone is wrong, I just feel both sides are about half right.
Love and blessings

Do you currently knoiw what a test is?
If one is offered a test (maybe even a simple true false question); does it mean if the answer is false, but the person answers true; did the person 'pass the test? If the person 'fails the test', does it mean they lied or were misinformed?
I propose to you that 'Christians' in this country (and probably world wide) have a few tests currently, and probably have not passed a few of them. Perhaps some 'tests' are currently even in the 'bible'!

I don't understand how some people think it's more ridiculous to think we evolved from monkeys than it is to think we were made out of a pile of dirt and a rib bone? You may not have seen a monkey turn into a man, but you can study microbiology and watch natural selection occur within a matter of days. Evolution takes hundreds of thousands of years and is an ongoing process, it's not something that happens overnight.

settle down. of course man evolved from apes, and was created by god. why do you think you have to choose;and whoever is telling you evolution is a myth are the same people who think that you have to take everthing the bible says literally. I belive that god created adam&eve cz thats what god said he did so i wont argue. I belive men evolved from apes because i look at the evidence and it just makes sense. Does I understand how BOTH of these could possibly be? Not even a little bit. But thats how god is-MYSTERIOUS. He does all kinds of stuff i dont understand and i think you should stop trying to figure it all out and just trust what god says. And i think it sucks if ur church is arguring that evolution didnt happen cz thats just crazy talk. But hey, nobody is perfect. Priest, pastor or joe from down the street-nobody gets it right all the time.

You have just made the assumption that all Christians are young-earth creationists. This is a false assumption and a sweeping generalization. Perhaps you would do better to address your question to fundamentalists.
