it's actually only one tooth and i really don't have the money for braces, unless they can fix just one tooth for around $100. i hate smiling because my teeth look so disgusting thanks to that one front tooth deciding to take its own path, so any info on how i can get this fixed cheap and affectively would really help.

well i don't need to extract any teeth, just fix the alignment... my crazy idea but i might look worse without a front tooth

All it takes is a bottle of whiskey and a pair of pliers. And a good friend, I guess.

go to an orthadontist they will usally see you for free. Then they can decide what the best way to go would be and what they would charge if you can't afford it don't do it. If it is just one tooth they would probably take and impression and give you a removable retainer that would be adjusted every 6 weeks and it hurts. You would have to pay for the retainer which is like 250.00 and yes it would have to be paid for before they make it but they might only charge you for that mine did. Also most orthadontists do take payments unlike a lot of dentists

You cannot fix this yourself. You will have to wait until you have money for a dentist. Try looking for dentists near universities. Often there are a few with cheap prices (because of the number of students around). You'll have to pay for the office visit, and they might be able to just pull one tooth. However, someone needs to assess all of your teeth to figure out what can be done.

No, it can't. Teeth are very sensitive. If you adjust it by yourself, it will cause you more trouble.
