I own a furniture wholesale company in NC and sell mostly high end goods( more expensive). Some of the best retail deals are at Sams Club/ Costco and Big Lots. They sell for extremely low margins. Some of the prices they sell for are less than what I can buy it from overseas. ( huge volume - low profit) and what they are selling is a great value and if you have a problem they will take it back with little or no questions asked.

I would think if you bought cheap furniture online you would have to pay for shipping.
In my opinion, I would buy from a local used furniture store. You would not only find great deals, but you would also be putting money into your local community.

Ikea.com but you can only purchase a few things over the internet, the rest you have to purchase in the store.
Target.com also has some pretty good deals.
