Virgo is Latin. It's nominative singular of the Latin noun meaning 'maiden, young woman, virgin'.

The English word 'vigin' comes from this source.

How about not having Virgo tattooed, but find a really nice example of the constilation and have a very good tattooist do it in black and grey. At least you will be sure to have people asking about it and not just have another star sign insignia.

Just a thought... Hope it helps.. Good Luck

Yup it's latin already and their letters were the same as ours, so... Why don't you give shaun's idea a go? Guaranteed to be more interesting, and the meaning is the same.

Oh geez, as someone who has studied Greek I wish you people would a little bit more research before you get stupid spellings of tattoos in different languages. Like all those people who get tattoos in Chinese, do they even know what they really mean? Of course not!
