God works in mysterious way to control world population... from time to time God will make you eat your own children as "punishment"-- but isn't it a way of controlling world's population?!
God is determined to make you eat your own children when he wants to punish you in the "Land Flowing with Milk and Honey"
Leviticus 26:29 - (God says) YOU WILL eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.
Deuteronomy 28:53-57 - Because of the suffering that your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you. Even the most gentle and sensitive man* (*not a godless atheist!) among you will have no compassion on his own brother or the wife he loves or his surviving children, and he will not give to one of them any of the flesh of his children that he is eating…
Jeremiah 19:9 - I (GOD) WILL MAKE THEM eat the flesh of their sons and daughters...

Never mind that “compassionate* (*godly) women HAVE COOKED THEIR OWN CHILDREN...” God is still pumping more egotistic propaganda hoping that the Bible readers don’t remember that he forced the mothers to eat their own babies!
Isaiah 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!* (*the Bible God is a dirty liar! Actually God is the human imagination gone berserk writing a Holy Book just to control religious people and to make money out of their gullibility!)

God controls the population with Hunger. When we farm, we make ourselves God. This is why Jesus said "There will always be hungry among you." No matter how much we farm, how much earth we destroy to make more people, the more food, the more people. We just keep exploding. so, we're supposed to (Jesus again) "Live like the Birds" trusting in God to provide. God first taught this lesson to Cain and Able. Cain was a farmer, and God hated his sacrifice, while Able was a Pastoralist, and God loved him, and his trust in God to provide. Sometimes we go get deer to eat, sometimes we go hungry. This is God's way.

no sex was for population of the earth. but was for married couple only. no people don't care. that's why so many disease and children w/o fathers are out there.
people took a good thing and made it wrong.
