Why would he be slightly bothered? Is that not proof that he is a creation of man?

It seems Gods only purpose is man, which leads me to think that he's man made.

It is proof of the creation of god by men.

I always saw it that way as it makes the most sense.

Considering the almost obsessive egotistical/anthropically biased nature of Middle Eastern patriarchal monotheism - everything is about 'man', the 'male child', we were 'made perfect', we will be 'perfect again as His Favourites!'

It sticks out like a sore thumb...

non secular everybody is non secular because of the fact they're the two extraordinarily afraid of having no meaning or extraordinarily afraid of looking out that some thing that has been a evaluate their lives for the reason that they might bear in strategies is a lie. they choose there to be a God. that's why they argue so religiously (pun!) with regard to the situation. Atheists tend to realize the various undesirable consequences of religion on society while they improve into atheists and argue religiously over it in imprecise hopes of attempting to make the international a extra powerful place. That or they're merely boastful. the two way they're in all probability good, yet that's beside the element. Now, i'm a stay and permit stay individual, and picture that everybody must be waiting to coach notwithstanding faith they choose (or none in any respect). although, the controversy is by no ability going to give up because of the non secular peoples' theory that what they think of is what everybody ought to think of and the non-non secular peoples' theory that they shouldn't to boot to the two communities feeling like another team ought to come to their respective factors... it is all ridiculous quite. people ought to start minding their very own business enterprise.

Why would God even remotely be interested in us? You've touched on one of the deepest and most humbling questions in Christianity.

God has no practical reason to be interested in us. He is God, so He doesn't *need* anything - He doesn't need us. He doesn't need us to exist. He doesn't need us to be happy. He doesn't need us to avoid boredom.

So why be obsessed with us?

The answer that is unique to Christianity is that God loves us and wants to build a family with us. We can see a faint echo of this in our own family lives. Why do we stay with our husband or wife? Why do we bother to feed and clothe our children?

It is much more practical, from a self-preservation and self-interest standpoint, to ignore them. I will have more money, less chores, and fewer troubles if I just drive off into the sunset tonight instead of home to my family. Why do I not only go home but *want* to go home? Because I love them.

This is perhaps a more simple example... When most people see an animal running across the street, the swerve or brake their car to avoid hitting it. Why? Creating a possum pizza would risk much less damage to life and property than swerving or braking suddenly. In the interest in self-preservation, we should just take the critter out. And yet most of us don't. Why? The animal is beneath us. We don't need that animal. We exist and are happy without it. But we love.

For a person who claims to be rational, you are making very irrational claims. How on earth does your conjecture prove anything?

EDIT:

Weird that you and others think this is proof for anything. To be perfectly honest, the existence of God can neither be proved for disproved. From a purely logical standpoint, the agnostics are the only group that are logically correct.

However, atheism is as dogmatic as theism. I challenge you to come up with one logically valid argument for the lack of existence of God. Likewise, theists cannot come up with one logical argument for the existence of God.

So stop trying to make yourself seem more educated by pushing an agenda that is as equally dogmatic as theism.

You must not completely understand man's relationship to God. God is not just some arbitrary ruler over some lowly, disobedient creatures that he created out of the dust of the earth.

God is your Father in Heaven (Matthew 6:9). We call God Heavenly Father because He is the Father of our spirits and we are created in His image ( Genesis 1:27).

God has a body that looks like yours, though His body is immortal, perfected, and has a glory beyond description. He knows you personally and loves you more than you can comprehend. To help you find happiness in this life and guide you to return to live with Him, Heavenly Father provided a plan called the gospel of Jesus Christ, a guide based on the life and teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ.

From the beginning, Heavenly Father has called prophets to testify, record His word, and provide His plan for His children on the earth. The teachings of prophets are found in sacred? books called scriptures? ( Amos 3:7).

Your Heavenly Father knows you and loves you and wants to help you return to Him. Your life on Earth is part of His plan for you to gain a body, learn, grow, and find joy. Sometimes life is hard, lonely, or frightening, but your Heavenly Father is always there. He sorrows when you suffer and rejoices when you do what is right. He wants to communicate with you as you sincerely pray to Him, and He stands ready to give you comfort, peace, and guidance in your life.

Jesus Christ taught that you must know the only true God to have eternal life ( John 17:3). As His child, you must know who He is and what He is like to find greater peace and joy, both in this life and in the life to come.

Obsessed? Not really. He cares for his creation as any Father would care for his children. Do you find it odd to hear a Father (or mother) say that their child means everything to him. That they devote themselves to the care of that child? Is it not considered admirable when a man's purpose is to care for his children?
