Good observation. I would say in Matthew, Jesus is revealed as the King I serve. Mark the man I identify with (man can also refer to maturity). Luke the Saviour I follow (we are to wear the helmet of salvation!) and in John the Son of God I worship. We too are sons of God for as many as received Him (Jesus the Lamb of God) to them He gave power to become the sons of God.
