No, it just means that the contradictions are not correct. Just like a person can tell the truth in some occasions and others not. the result is that you need to be careful when believing what they say.
Edit:
In the either case, God or human, if one is known to make contradictory statements then you research to find out if the other statements are true. In the case of God, there is no evidence that what is said in the Bible is true.

Based on the category this question is posted in, I'll assume that you're asking this in reference to God or the Bible (my apologies if I'm jumping to conclusions here).
No, a person contradicting themselves doesn't negate any other truths they've told. But if God is so perfect, no utterly infallible, then how is it possible that he made such mistakes in his own autobiography?
