First of all to ALJ/Atheist/Acid Zebra and Lonzdale, while I agree with free speech, you are all a disgrace to humanity.

Very little is known about the life of the Virgin Mary, and her death is not recorded in the scriptures.

The Islamic Qur'an also records the lives of Mary and Jesus and parts of it are almost identical to the Gospelm of Luke.

In 2005 the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglican Church, issued a joint statement seeking a common understanding on the Immaculate Conception as defined in 1854, and the assumption of Mary as defined in 1950.

She didnt stay a virgin as the Bible records tells us that Jesus had four half brothers and sisters.
Nor does the Bible tell us what Mary died off.

Mary was referred to in the Bible as a 'virgin' before the birth of Jesus Christ. She was thereafter called the mother of Jesus! Joseph the carpenter had hot sex with her, so, please stop calling her 'virgin Mary'

Mary, the mother of Jesus believed in the Lord and his son, Jesus Christ. We were told that she worshiped the true Lord and died of her belief.

The exact date of her death was not stated in the Bible

As a catholic I believe that The Blessed Virgin Mary is my mother, I also believe that she was a holy virgin. I know quite a few people think that she wasn't, but that's your opinion, but people who are deliberately making a fool out of Her are offending me and my religion. Please don't!

Stories say that on the day of the death of Mary, she was lying on the couch in the little sleeping alcove of her home. She had lived a full life and her body was now old and tired. The Apostles had assembled there because of her impending death, and they held a service in the front part of the house.

It does not say in the bible what she died of. Although by then she was no longer a virgin and if it were me, after witnessing the terrible beating, torture and death of my child, I think I would die of a broken heart.

Like one of the past post said, "we don't know how she died or when." John (the beloved disciple) was supposed to take care of her. I assume she died a peaceful death and experienced the ascention of going up to heaven.

The Bible doesn't say and as the above answerer said, she was no longer a virgin as she had children after Jesus.

That "woman" as Jesus called her??

Nothing in bible. And if historians are silent about Jesus himself, what chance for that "woman"?
