Not all Christians are judgmental. I believe let God be the judge of things. Christians should walk in the light of Christ and not judge. This is how I try to be. I don't judge. And if I ever do, may God forgive me.

Jn 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
There is a double meaning to this statement.
Your question refers to the most common meaning - and you are correct - the 'christians' are not Christians (Yet) as long as they harm others in any way.
They 'go against' the teaching of their own saviour because they are not really Christian but use the name to deceive others. They are the 'wolves in sheep's clothing Jesus warned about.
Mt 7:15 . Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
The second meaning refers to 'casting a stone (at her - the church) for a foundation' - and Jesus is teaching:
Whoever overcomes their ego and enters into the fulness of the consciousness of the Spirit will be the foundation stone of the Church on the earth.
You see, despite all the claims, of all the 'churches' - the Church of Christ with Christ as its head has not YET been established on the earth.
When it IS, all the robbery, all the murder, taxation, sickness and death will be no more.
The 'woman' 'caught in adultery - represents the soul, Jesus writing on the sand represents life's experiences through time receiving an education and the accusers represent our own selfish thoughts about life who slink away when the Light of life is made apperent.

He did say that! However lets look at the circumstances for a minute. The self righteous religious leaders of His day brought the woman to Jesus claiming that she had been caught in the act of adultery. They knew the law and they knew that under the law she was to be stoned to death. So why didn't they simply carry out the penalty prescribed in the law? This whole situation was nothing more than a set up to try and trap Jesus into either speaking out against the law ar instructing that she should be turned loose. either way he would have been in violation of the law and subject to the death penalty Himself. We note also that the accusers failed to produce the man. In all probability, some of the Pharisees had been with this woman themselves. Jesus knew their hidden motive so He cut the ground from under them and neither spoke against the law or exercised a brutal judgment by ordering her to be put to death. Hence His reply. We note that the self righteous accusers all murmured amongst themselves and one by one they left and eventually there was only Jesus and the woman left. The whole situation was designed to trap Jesus. We are instructed in the Bible that we are to use discernment and judgment in certain cases. The Bible also instructs Christians not to receive certain people who lay claim to being Christian and their doctrine is against Scriptural teachings.

I try very hard not to judge, but Christians are supposed to use RIGHTEOUS judgment with each other. We're not supposed to judge people outside Christianity.
So, what is righteous judgment?
That would be like me pulling a Christian friend aside, and telling them very gently that they're doing something that is a sin (edit) after carefully examining myself to make sure I'm not in error, and that I'm not being a hypocrite.
The judgment Jesus spoke against would be something like a Christian who drinks too much too often condemning me for smoking cigarettes and occasionally missing church.
Or like me condemning a non-Christian for having premarital sex, when I wasn't a virgin when I married my husband.
But not all Christians are judgmental. Most of us do try very hard not to judge. We all make mistakes, though.

As a child of God, a true Christian would not sit in judgment of another. You shouldn't judge many by the actions of a few. Keeping in mind that you should apply the knowledge that no one is perfect and that we all have a sin nature. I try to respect the right for others to choose for themselves what they believe to be right for themselves. I may not always agree, but that does not make me judge mental. I'm always willing to agree to disagree.

There is a difference between judgement and condemnation. We all make judgements every day based on our beliefs. Christians make judgements based on the teaching of the Bible and as long as this is not done in a condemnatory way there is nothing wrong with it.
Jesus made judgements and called His followers to do so.

That is an excellent question.
Jesus was speaking as a proponent of light and Christians have rejected that original Gospel of Light in favor of a Gospel that came along after Jesus was gone.
"mercy, not sacrifice"......
and sacrifice, no mercy (preemtive strike).
Jesus preached the first in Matt. 9:13, and those who teach in his name followed the second.

I could be wrong as it has been quite awhile but I believe there was a pivotal difference... did it not say, Let he who is not without THIS sin cast the first stone?"
But either way in your question it would amount to the same thing...

You have to take that in Context with all of Jesus Teachings
For example Jesus said this as well about Judging.
Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment"; and "You have rightly judged."; and "Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right?"; and "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves". (Jesus' Words in John 7:24; Luke 7:43, 12:57 and Matt. 23:15)
So .....Should We Never Judge?
There is an extremely serious error that is being believed by the vast majority of people caught up in christian religion. This error is literally making those folks unwilling and unable to discern truth. And what is this error? It is believing that all "judgment" is wrong. If this is true, then what is to be made of Jesus' Words above? In the verses above, Jesus clearly commands people to judge, commends people for judging, and judges himself.
The key point to understand is that not all judgment is wrong, just various types of judgment. The types of judgment that are wrong according to Jesus are condemnation, as well as hypocritical and self-righteous judgment. On the other hand, right judgment is commended by Jesus as we see above. Right judgment includes the judging of truth versus falsehood. The sincere, serious and sober judgment of our own sins, as well as the gentle, and compassionate judgment and correction of other's beliefs or sins.
Tragically, Satan is doing a masterful job in christianity's organizations in regard to confusing people over the issue of "judgment". People have been lead to believe that it is "un-loving" to correct someone who is in error, whether by word or deed. Certainly many have contributed to Satan's lie of "don't judge anyone" by being harsh, ungracious or unmerciful in their judgments. It is easy for a person - after being excoriated by a modern day Pharisee who is telling them that they are going to hell if they don't believe something that Jesus doesn't even address - to be pushed to believe that all "judgment" is wrong.
