Excel Autonumber?

Need to create an autonumber in excel to create a unique order number. Any ideas?

The ROW() function does not create a unique number. It only returns the row number for the cell that the formula is in.

There is no built in way to use Excel to generate a unique number. Typically an invoice/order system is handled using Access which can easily create a unique order number for each invoice.

You can use row() function for autonumber.
