It does. What many Christians in the world never face is real persecution. Those Christians in the US, Australia, UK; the parts of the world where religious freedom is realized, there is only superficial and non violent persecution present, typically.
However, in those countries in the world where persecution takes place where religious freedom is not a way of life, the causes of those against Christianity is much more apparent.
Recently I have heard missionaries say the same kinds of things about people in those countries where the persecution of Christianity is more prevalent, their faith is more intense there.
I think that Paul wrote about this:
2 Corinthians 12
9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
That is what I do when I am admitting to being a Bisexual Christian. Because as I do my work for the Lord I come across Christians who come at me for saying what my weaknesses are. They see this as a weakness, and ignoring the witness that admitting to the weakness brings, they attack me for my weakness. So that makes me even more resolute in bringing the Gospel message to those who are also constantly bashed for what they are, what causes them division with the Gospel - the opinions of those Christians who are not Gay or Bisexual and yet also are sinners in some other way.
So in Christ, my seeming weakness is made perfect in Christ, as I can admit to my sin which brought me both condemnation which chased me to Christ, withstanding the persecution by even the brethren, and going forward in the testimony of grace and peace in Christ with God.
Those who are not in the free world are given other weaknesses to consider. They have violence, the removal of limbs, the rapes and death of their loved ones to run to God for shelter. They depend much more heavily upon the word of God for His promises stated in the Bible.
In the US for example, many Christians think that being a Christian means to live in a way that is apparently 'clean and pure', while the Christians in other parts of the world are merely Christian because God's word promises life while they have death staring them in the face.
Which one would be stronger in their faith?

Hmmm. I did 2 many years interior the USAF and besides the shown fact that this is meant to be denomination impartial, Christianity became dominant especially at purposes the place a chaplain would do an invocation. (how are you able to invoke a god it fairly is acceptable to all??? under no circumstances figured that one out.) I additionally labored in Passenger amenities, and each Friday the Rabbi chaplain would come interior the morning and ask for a seat on the shipment a hundred thirty to Bosnia. each Friday he became became down. He under no circumstances complained. I had to bounce up and down and yell and scream to the powers above that it became essential to get him on that flight, so he'd be on the floor and able to serve the Jewish squaddies previously sunset, the Sabbath. finally they have been given it after approximately 12 requests from me, they figured it out and that they began to configure the easy with a seat for the Rabbi each Friday morning. I under no circumstances felt slighted or persecuted for my Buddhism or of their eyes loss of Christianity, so I easily have some hardship believing that this is truly not an remoted condition interior of this squaddies company or battalion.

Since Christians are a majority it cannot be Christians who are being persecuted. Persecution is always directed toward minorities. Today it is gays and atheists who are being persecuted.

What are you talking about? Christians are not persecuted today. Not in the US anyway, maybe in Sudan but not in the UK or US. None of the free countries.
Christians do the persecuting of pagans and Wiccans.

In the church`s history, the growth only occured in times of persecutions. Without it, the human nature leans to accomodate and to do nothing or strive for a cause, whatever it is.

I am going to guess that a "reaction paper" is supposed to be YOUR reaction to it. If so, you shouldn't be asking anybody here, you should think about this question yourself.
