I mean it's a belief right...so that obviously makes is a religion according to the logic of some theists. If so where can I sign up for the Tax exemption?

Hey Ent Wife, Did you even read the Entire article or the context it was written? hahaha Also have you done any follow up research since 2005? When the article was written? The question wasn't just directed at you.

DIRECT QUOTE FROM THE ARTICLE!!!!!!!!!!

"while rightly saying that the proposed group was not religious -- "wrongly denied him any other way to form an organization."

Hey don O it is not a preference it is a philosophy. the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct.
1. Philosophy- the rational investigation of the truths and principles of being, knowledge, or conduct.

2. Preference- the act of preferring.

You look up your definitions!

I was not aware that atheists believed so strongly in Peanut Butter and Jelly. I do not believe they go together very well at all. Would that make me a PBJatheist?

edit:

You asked in additional comments, "Are all Christians as stupid and ignorant as the ones who answered this question? or is it only limited to Yahoo answers?"

Look at the original question you posed about Peanut Butter and Jelly. Now think about the meaning of the words "stupid" and "ignorant".

It's a religion just as much as atheism is a religion.

That's the funny thing with the definitions of religion a lot of believers come up with, they are so lax that they can be applied to damn near anything and thus the word loses essentially all meaning.

A religion isn't defined by one belief. Anyway, that isn't a belief, it's a preference.

In reference to the article, atheism isn't a religion (nor is it a lack of religion, just for reference), in the same way that theism isn't. Atheism can be part of a religion, but not a religion itself.

Actually it's not a belief it's a preference so you ought to get your definitions sorted out first :o)

I guess all you want to do is abuse Christians so you are a direct contradiction of your name.

http://www.atheists.org/flash.line/court36.htm

I gave you an article from an atheist perspective specifically so that you would not claim I was feeding you a "biased" source. yes, the article isn't happy about the ruling, but the fact remains that according to the United States courts, Atheism is a religion.

Let me ask you something. Where do you get moral authority from? If it's not from God, not from our laws and not from our courts, then from where? You can't have both ways you know.

EDIT - Well, now that you have called me both "stupid" and "ignorant" I shall thank you very much and take my leave. You have revealed your nature. Good day to you.

How could you possibly believe that PB does not go with J?
All you have to do is have faith. Or Jiffy will send you to Hell.
