this happened a few years ago, and u may think i'm being silly. They got on well, a little too well and did the dirt on me. i trusted her more than i trusted anyone in the world. i forgave her at the time and we still get on really well. the problem is that ever since i'm so paranoid now that everyone i go out with have the same motive and i'm very ucomfortable with my boyfriends being around her, and getting on well. i don't tell any of my boyfriends this because it'll be me looking insecure, but i am insecure about it. i just want to be able to let go of what happened and not be haunted by it all the time. Help.

You sound human to me those people who are just telling you to get over it would feel the same if it happened to them, i don't think your sister would wanna hurt you like that again tho, your both older and hopefully a bit wiser

Psychologically speaking, you oughta get over it already. It must have been pretty traumatizing for you to have that insecurity until now...tell you what: why don't you talk it over with your sister or something? Tell her how you feel about it (don't tell your boyfriend because guys don't usually understand that sort of thing LOL) and maybe try to discuss it more thoroughly between the two of you. Did you really felt that you could forgive her when that happened? How did your sister feel when you caught them? Something like that. Usually directly addressing the issue is a great help to get over an insecurity. Be blunt about it. That's probably the best way to get the message across :)

i do not believe u will ever trust her again. u r NOT wrong 4 feeling as such. u should never have had 2. I dont no exactally what 2 tell u cuz i dont think there really is anything. u ask cuz u want iy 2 go far away, but also ask cuz u want it to disapear...it wont. I think that when u meet the right guy, then, then those thoughts, feelings, and concerns will vanish. Sucks that it was fam, but never trust someone who held your heart as if it was a used paper towel. im sorry this happened to you and wish u the best. sometimes it sucks being so cool, even sisters will be jelous and try to ruin our happiness :)

Have a talk with your sister and explain openly how you feel in a carm way. Explain that you still want to get on well with her and that you do forgive her but you cant forget but if she does ever do it again you wont be able to forgive her a second time.

There is nothing you can do because your sister will always be around. Just make sure that she's never alone with your bf and the two of them don't spend anytime together if you're not around. Just relax and let it be. He loves you and wants to be with you, not your sister

Eve Marie ! please keep ur sister at a healthy distance from now on - at least in matters relating to ur love & bf.s

Loving is like thinking & dying. each must do it for one's own self. U cannot share these private moments with another - however close they may be to u.

Keep all ur private & confidential matters to urself - away from ur sister.
