i have a bizzare sense of humor, enjoy alternative things and feel i cannot relate to my peers. i have friends but i feel so distant to everyone else. i find it really hard to communicate my emotions without the paranoia that i am being ridiculed, most likely due to my low self esteem. how can i make myself feel more like i am like everyone else?

Sweetie, don't try to be like everyone else. Be yourself. Everyone is different. The best way I've found to get over low self esteem issues is to forget what other's think and just do what comes natural to you. (( BIG HUGS )).

Plenty so called Bizzare people here.
Welcome friend - join the party here.

Say how you feel here,
We all wear masks to hide from some who we really are.
Express your self any way you want -- some do poetry here

Shouting from the top of high places - is a good self-esteem builder, once you forget to feel silly.

You do feel like everyone else - everyone has some issues about, what others think -- You just have to use that sense of humour to stand up and grin at the world

post a few of your bizzare or alternative thoughts as questions -- and you will find a few more like minded friends

Because Bizzare is good

well it seem like you have an introvert personality. its much better because there is hidden genius in you. i suggest you to find out that and explore what you really are.
than you find things are arranging on its right position them self.
and the reason of your problem is that 'cause u think this is a problem. if you gonna to ask someone nearer you you will find out that people don't think about you as you think they think.
try to concentrate on your strengths you find that u r not weird more. rest i want to say that science also believe that every one is unique.

No one is like everyone else - enjoy your differences and find someone who appreciates them. The worst thing in the world to be is a lemming. As you get older you soon see that our little "oddballness" is what makes us interesting.

don't start wanting to be like "everyone else" else you;ll just confuse yourself more and more as you grow up. Most people haven't figured out who or how exactly they are anyway, so you just do what feels right to yourself.
You'll soon find people who understand you and like you for what you want to change right now.

Why would you want to feel like everyone else? I'd rather befriend people like you than those "others". There are people like you out there, you just gotta look. They tend to hide sometimes. Don't ever compromise yourself
