I recently received a pair of Mitsubishi speakers, model ss-150 along with a pair of "Jamo Cornet 70 IV".
I am wondering what kind of amplifier should i buy to get the best out of these speakers (of course, good quality with less money would be nice!).
I would love to receive some options or maybe a brief guide to select the right one. Thanks!

Generally you want a AV receiver. These devices include an amp, but do a LOT of other things:

- DD5.1 decoding
- Switching
- AM/FM tuner
- Video switching
- etc.

So look for an AV receiver. Yamaha makes some nice ones about $500 with a ton of features. Since these are so heavy, I suggest you run out to CircuitCity, BestBuy, etc to see them and buy them local.

Cezars telling you a good way to blow your speakers. When it comes to **** like this you have to get technical. He wants to sound good not **** his speakers up. Which is why he's asking, any jackass knows that. What kind of subwoofers are you getting? Yes you'll need mono/ 1 channel/ single channel amplifier.

Hi. Are you going to use the four speakers together ? If so, in what configuration will they be used ?

EDIT....Do you want a Surround Sound Receiver for audio only ?

Look on Crutchfields Web site or give them a call to discuss. The sell pretty good stuff and their tech support is outstanding.
