I have a friend at work who has lost about 2 stone (28lbs). Throughout the period, she has lead people to believe she did it using Weight Watchers. Yester I heard her rattling pills in a container and had a quick look. She was taking slimming tablets. She does not know I know. I don't plan to say anything What a cheat!!!!!! I do however get really annoyed when she keeps offering me food and not eating any herself.

,Actually, if you're really her friend, you should tell her that you are worried about her, and you just want to make sure that she's doing the right things while dieting. Not because you're poking into her private affairs but because, depending on what pills those are, they could be harmful to her. If she seems to be open for discussion, then you can gently ask her about the pills with care and concern. If she clams up when you ask, then just offer support. Hope this helps. Good luck.

She'll probably gain most of it back, so, really, she's only cheating herself. Losing weight with diet pills doesn't teach a person the good habits they'll need to keep it off.

And, yeah, it's pretty lame of her.

my friend did a 12-week challenge with her gym, and one of the competitors was on the Tony Ferguson diet the whole time (like atkins). They lost 26kg and won, EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS CHEATING! Everyone knew she was cheating.
Leave her be. She lost weight and when she goes off the pills, she'll probably put it all back on.

Maybe she has really bad self esteem and wanted to lose the weight so badly she lied to you.

You might want to slyly leave an article lying about the place saying how slimming tablets are bad for you though....

Sal*UK is right it only works if you have a good diet, slimming tablets also gives the strength to exercise 'cause of the vitamins.

...I'm not good at the pills thing, but I think they're really bad for you? I think you should tell her to be careful. Have you seen "Requiem For A Dream" (<-movie) That did not end up well. Diet pills are speed. Bad news. I think you should at least warn her of her own health.
