It does sometimes happen if the shower is directed at the ear, however the canal is curved for protection, this stops water getting in and reduces the risk of foreign bodies getting in.

Equalizing, plugging your nostril and blowing (you sense some thing comparable as you yawn now and returned) is stable as quickly as your right down to cut back the rigidity and discomfort, even though it won't help with the water actual entering your ears.. that's gross, yet as a diver i've got discovered the complicated excess of the years... How often and to what severe do you sparkling your ears? I in uncomplicated terms ask because of the fact organic wax is the only organic deterrent of water and that i do no longer think of you will get penalized by ability of everybody different than your companion for having a hint volume on your ear. i'm no longer talking approximately no longer cleansing out your ears for an entire 3 hundred and sixty 5 days... do exactly no longer stick that q-tip all the way into BFE like maximum persons and attempt to get all of it out. actual, you're actually not meant to place something on your ear the two because it often merely compacts each little thing into the canal and you may desire to finally end up with injury, infections, listening to loss, etc, etc... besides, did no longer mean to sound like your mom... I wish you and your team the main suitable!

..Eardrum and wax.. Perhaps help. The most important reasons are however (1) the structure of ones outer ear and the position of the hole itself and (2) the fact that one does not lie on one's side sticking the shower head into one's ear trying to spray water into it :-)

But, actually, some water does get in. That's why it's wet in your ear if you stick your pinkie into it after a shower. (Or one of those cottony sticks) Careful though, not too far, not too far :-)

Good luck!
