How long does the honeymoon period last for at the start of a relationship ? and how should you feel??

Ive heard the honeymoon peiod is usually between 3-6 months. During this period is when nothing seems to go wrong and you always compromise to make everyone happy. The reason it usually ends is because you start to feel like you are the only one making effort, or you decide you dont like the way things are.

It depends on you and your relationship. The Honeymoon could "be over" after 3 months - it could last for 10 years.

Hey it's the old 3-6-9 rule. 3 months, honeymoon period - 6 months, revisit the relationship (do i want to be with him/her?) - if you make it to 9 months, congrats!

It is that warm and fuzzy feeling that the two of you have while getting to know each other better.
Watch out for the downfall - it won't last more than a few months. Less - if you stay up all night often and tell each other everything.

I would think it should be long as long as a normal period is for you. If for some reason it lasts considerably longer, you should definitely see your doctor.
