What greater sacrifice could Jesus have done.He was beaten 39 times until His back turned to shreds. They smashed a crown of thorns on His head.He carried the cross. They put spikes in His wrists and feet. They spit on Him.
They mocked Him.They humiliated Him.He was on the cross for 6 hours. HE CARRIED EVERY SINGLE SIN THAT MAN EVER COMMITTED ON HIS BACK.AND HE COULD OF BEEN WITH GOD SITTING UP IN GREAT LUXURY.BUT HE CHOOSE TO LOVE US AND OBEY HIS FATHER.They put a sign over His Head (THE KING OF THE JEWS).HE DIED AND THEY TOOK A SPEAR AND RUN IT THROUGH HIS RIGHT SIDE . Source(s) BLOOD AND WATER CAME OUT.WHEN IT HIT THE GROUND THE SKY TURNED DARK.THEN THERE WAS A GREAT EARTQUAKE,AND A ROMAN SOLDIER YELLED OUT (((((((((SURELY HE WAS THE SON OF GOD))))))))))))).

And all we have to do Is believe.Ask Jesus to forgive our sins
And ask Him to come into our heart. And have a loving relationship with Jesus. He did all the work.Because of mans sins.

If he gave everyone a "free pass", he'd only hurt himself and his righteousness with good reward for the wicked.

Life & Death have no worth against the objectives.

Many prophets and Heros were killed by their own people but the objective remained "alive" forever!

Here we find nothing but CROSS!

He should have protested on the charge:
THE KING OF JEWS V SON OF GOD!
The Roman soldier was too far to read the charge.

He should have selected the right Disciples who could offer their own lives for the Master!

The main objective is lost in The Original Sin!

Cindy, first of all I love you, your a good person.
aslam has a point however that does not affect my
relationship with Jesus.
Many prophets have come and been killed by there
own kind and the message still comes thru, that message is still being given to mankind, Love one another as you love yourselves. be kind to one another, take take of each other.
For some reason this message causes some people to want to kill the messenger.
Gandhi said it, Martin Luther Kind Jr. said it, just to name a few.
Cindy you too are a messenger.
Thanks
Big Hugs

Why did he have to go through any of this at all? Why couldn't God just decide to forgive, and then forgive? If God was my father, and sent me to go through such hell, even though he had the power to simply forgive, I'd have told him where to go!!!

Its just a fairy story.

And any way, I would never ask anyone to do that. The question you have to ask is what sort of sick, sadistic, depraved and hateful god would REQUIRE this.

This is not a story of hope - its more like a snuff movie.
