I see this word A LOT. I would like to have a discussion on exactly what people mean when they use this word. Is it a place? A state of mind? A hallucination? Just looking for some clarification.

This question could apply to the term 'hell' as well.

It cud mean anything. For some is a tub of Rocky road ice cream. For some it's Venice. For some it's the place where good people reside in the afterlife. For some heaven is hell.

Heaven=progression, continual knowledge, living in the presence of our Heavenly Father, being with our eternal family

Hell=stuck, not living in the presence of God, not gaining any more knowledge, not gaining all the blessings of our divine nature

I believe we will all eventually be at peace whereever we end up, but those that accept the gospel plan and do the things necc to achieve it, will be rewarded. I think of it more as a reward system. If you choose not to accept Christ or God or his plan then you will be content but you wont gain any more knowledge or blessings.

I think we will be very busy in heaven learning and growing. I think we will be progressing twds being more and more like our Heavenly Father, which is our divine nature. That will probably take a lot of time and work.

Heaven is a realm where spirit creatures reside;Jehovah God,Jesus Christ, the angels.
Whereas earth is where humans reside.
The Bible does not teach of a place of fiery torment called 'hell'.It is not a literal place. The words incorrectly translated 'hell' are really 'hades'(Hebrew) and 'sheol'.Both of which mean the common grave of mankind.

Heaven is all that bluish, black spacey stuff that is above your head and goes ALLL the way up...and out...and down. Its pretty vast but has some cool stuff...stars, nebula, planets, the realm of the Living God...

Hell on the other hand...mistranslated...is the grave. Pretty boring there...not too much to see and..well, who could see anything really anyway..cuz yer dead when you go there.
