see yourself where you are presently in your life. a lot of times these feelings occur during times of need. you may feel like you are lacking in life in certain areas. i like to evaluate myself regularly in a number of areas such as health, finances, the quality of my relationships, where i am in relation to the goals i've set for myself such as how far i've moved towards or away from them and devise a way to move forward. maybe it's time for you to set some personal goals. a lot of times in life when we plateau we feel stuck or empty. set your sights higher and remember to consistantly move forward. there is no settling in life. you're either growing or dying as everything in your world is constantly in motion. good luck and remember, you will find your inner self through careful evaluation of your goals, your values, and through meditating on where you are and where you need to go. you'll find it. good luck!

No one can be empty. He may be sad, may be happy, angry, ................but can not be apathetic except schizophrenic, in reality they are also not without emotion but the emotion may be inappropriate. I feel most probably you have depression like problem which lowers a man's mood [empty]. Watch / introspect yourself first and if you find something like this, go to a Psychiatrist for constructive help.

I find self medidtation works, not like cross legged humming crap, but serious time alone within. There are "wall" the mind puts up,sometimes because you may not be able to handle it.You have to work through the prob;em,inside, before you can deal with the emotions the problem causes. Some people can not do this alone, and see a doctor, others see a doctor just to take drugs to block everything out.Find what works and pray that what you find you can handle.

not sure if the article below will be helpful, but maybe it's a start.
you might want to check the self-help section at your local library or major book store for help, too.
i'm sorry you're feeling empty. you could also check in with your doctor, and let him or her know what's going on? sometimes they do have suggestions for help.
take care, and i sure do hope you're feeling better soonest

First start with finding something that you're passionate about like cars or something then go from there.
