The bright white/yellow is a good base color for your toner. You should be able to get colors very close to the color on the box or color chart. If it's not exactly as white as recommended in the chart, it may be just a little yellower or darker than you might expect.
Since you mentioned you don't like the yellow look, choose a shade that has a purple (light lavender, actually) base. The ash tones will give you more yellow because they have a green base. The reds will become light orange (which if light enough will come out a strawberry blonde.) If you feel at all unsure of how the base tones will show on your hair, have a professional colorist do it for you. You will be happiest with the results with a professional who has a few years experience doing coloring.

OMG!!! I did this once with a lightner.... and all i wanted to do was lighten my roots :(. I tried loads of different dies but because it was so white none of the blonde diyes worked.
The best thing you can do.... and i swear by this..... is go and bye a permanent (level 3) dark blonde/ light brown dye.
Don't worry that this will be too dark, because you have bleached your hair so much the dye will be a lighter shade than on the box, and it also fade back into a nice naturally light blonde after a few washes because light blonde hair can't really hold dark dyes
Anything lighter than this will not help at all and toners don't really seem to help. Trust me... i had patches of white yellow and orange and it sorted my hair out perfectly. Then after a week if you still want it lighter go an by a lighter shade of blonde (but not as light as before obviously) and do a strand test this time so you know how long to leave it. good luck

If you have a Sally's that you can go to, they have Wella toners. There should be a swatch book you can look at. The toners start with a letter T (ex..T10) They'll take any yellow or brassiness out of your hair. Actually...my favorite toner color is T10 from Wella. I find it a very natural blonde.
If you can't specifically buy a Toner and you have to get a color, stay away from any Ash colors. Ash has a blue base, and blue mixed with yellow gives you green.
Getting drugstore color is too tricky, because they don't always tell you if the color has a purple or blue base.

Yes a toner will greatly help. You can even get one of the blondest coloring kits by Loreal or Garnier and it will help tone down the brassiness. I have done that after going to the stylist and not liking the color. It will work, I promise. Multidimensional coloring kits work really well. Then put a really good conditioner and leave it on your hair for at least a hour then rinse.

You could go to a sally's Beauty Supply ask them if it's too soon to bleach it up again....if you can lift it to get the yellow out might be better...Or just go ahead and put a Toner on...Clairol has a Platinum that you put on with 20 volume peroxide...it should give that Billy idol cool looking white...if thats too white...look at the swatches and talk to one of the clerks...you can tell by talking who has experience...Good Luck...

you ought to purchase specific hair dyes that bleach the hair and dye multi functional. usually they are the kits which you will put in chunky severe lights of your favorite shade. Any dye which you place on your hair that includes bleaching previously hand will finally end up fading finally. I easily have had pink, blue and pink streaks on black hair and it appeared great! I recommend which you place the streaks below the perfect layer of hair so which you're no longer continually touching up your roots ( it fairly is a discomfort while are utilising tin foil around your streaks to maintain the colour from bleeding in to something of your hair) i'm hoping this permits, stable good fortune x
